Road Construction
The main infrastructure within the County of Renfrew is its road system. The majority of the County is accessible from the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 17) and a variety of other provincial highways running through municipalities. Ensuring positive traffic flow via arterial roadways is crucial to the transfer of goods and people in this region.
Renfrew County has a road system of more than 810 km of two-lane roadway. Of this, only 40 km is urban in nature, leaving more than 770 km of rural roads to be maintained. R.G.T. Clouthier Construction Ltd. has worked on a good portion of the 810 km of roadway in Renfrew County.
